MIGRAINE RELIEF
Our most requested appointment is probably our shortest, the migraine relief. It can be a service or an add-on to your massage.
For anyone who suffers from chronic migraines due to past injury, hormones, genetic makeup or pressure change. This service aids to the muscles in the face and scalp that trigger a migraine. Cold stones are applied and lightly massaged around the face, scalp and neck to decrease inflammation. We also have the client rest at the end of the session with a cold mask over the face and scalp. Basically, this massage is cold, dark, and quiet!
CUPPING
Cupping is the placement of silicone
cups throughout or on irritated or pained areas. The air is them manually pumped out of each cup, creating a suction. This suction draws any unwanted toxins to the surface of the skin, basically telling the body "Go here and heal". This treatment also aids to the release of the myofascial tissue, so bruising is likely to occur for 3-6 days after treatment.
This service may be added onto any service or as a service of its own.
